Privacy Policy

This policy describes the data flow for the public website and the local helper. Update the placeholders and have it reviewed before launch.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. Information we receive

The public website may receive normal web request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and approximate timing through Cloudflare logs. The local helper stores server names, settings, logs, worlds, backups, and downloaded server files on your computer.

2. We do not sell your data

PixelServers does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not sell your server worlds, files, logs, IP address, or usage information. We only use information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, or when disclosure is required by law. We do not enable advertising or cross-site tracking by default.

3. Local-first design

The helper API listens on 127.0.0.1:41815 by default. Server worlds and files are not uploaded to PixelServers merely because you use the website. The browser communicates with the helper on the same computer when the helper is running.

4. Optional services

If you use Modrinth, Mojang, PaperMC, Fabric, Forge, DNS, relay, analytics, authentication, or another third-party service, that service may receive information under its own policy. Review third-party terms before enabling integrations.

5. Cookies and local storage

PixelServers uses essential browser storage for preferences such as the cookie-consent choice and application state. We do not enable advertising or analytics cookies by default. The cookie panel lets you manage optional categories if they are introduced later.

6. Retention and deletion

Local server data remains until you delete it. Cloudflare and future service providers may retain security and operational logs according to their policies. Contact us to request information about data held by PixelServers, subject to legal and security requirements.

7. Children and sensitive data

Do not submit passwords, payment details, private keys, or sensitive personal information to server logs, chat commands, file uploads, or support requests.

8. Security and installer integrity

Keep your operating system, Java, server software, mods, plugins, router, and helper updated. Never expose the helper API to the internet. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

The official PixelServers download folder is intended to contain only the PixelServers installer, helper source, build materials, and checksum files. We do not intentionally include malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or other harmful code. The helper is local-first and its source is published for inspection. Some antivirus products may still flag new or unsigned installers as unknown or suspicious; users should download only from pixelservers.net, verify the published SHA-256 checksum, and wait for a digitally signed release where available.

9. Contact

Replace this placeholder before launch: privacy@pixelservers.net. Add the legal operator, address, jurisdiction, and rights available in your country.
